About Exotel

Exotel is building the future of customer conversations. From voice to WhatsApp to AI-led contact centres — we're reimagining how businesses talk to their customers.

Our platform powers more than 25 billion conversations every year across brands like Swiggy, Ola, Zerodha and Flipkart.

If you're someone who thrives on curiosity, enjoys talking to people, and loves the rush of turning who's this into tell me more!, you'll love being part of our Sales team.

Why this role matters

This isn't just another cold-calling job.

As an Outbound SDR, you're the first signal of Exotel, the one who sparks curiosity, builds relationships, and opens doors with India's top businesses. You'll play a key role in fueling Exotel's growth engine by identifying, qualifying and creating opportunities for our sales team.

If you are generating leads in the IT/ITES or BPO industry for a SAAS product, we are looking for you

Experience: 1–4 years in outbound sales, inside sales, or lead generation

What you'll do

Own the top of the funnel: Identify potential customers across sectors and reach out via calls, LinkedIn, and emails.
Start meaningful conversations with CXOs, Founders, and Product Heads about transforming customer communication.
Qualify leads through discovery — understanding pain points, decision-making processes, and readiness to adopt.
Collaborate with the Account Executives to hand off well-qualified opportunities and strategise outreach campaigns.
Experiment and iterate on messaging, outreach sequences, and tools to improve conversion rates.
Track, measure, and share insights using CRM tools (HubSpot / Salesforce).

You'll love this role if you

Have 1–4 years of experience in B2B sales / inside sales (preferably SaaS or tech).
Enjoy the thrill of outbound — researching accounts, personalising outreach, and hearing yes after a series of no's.
Are curious about technology and can quickly learn how communication APIs, contact centres, and automation tools work.
Are comfortable with targets and use data to improve your approach.
Speak and write fluent English, and can communicate with confidence and empathy.
Thrive in a fast-moving, ownership-driven culture.

Why join Exotel
