As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various application components to understand client requirements and system functionalities. The role includes designing solutions tailored to meet specific needs, writing and testing code to ensure quality and performance, and performing ongoing maintenance and enhancements to improve application efficiency. Collaboration with different stakeholders and adapting to evolving project demands are integral parts of the daily workflow, ensuring that software solutions remain robust and aligned with client expectations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to identify and resolve technical challenges within projects to maintain smooth delivery.
Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and guiding them through complex tasks.
Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timelines.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Retail.
Experience in customizing and configuring SAP for Retail modules to meet business requirements.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices in coding and testing.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP for Retail applications efficiently.
Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP for Retail and other enterprise systems.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP for Retail.
This position is based at our HDC3B - SEZ office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
