Job description: Intern- HR

Location: Yelahanka, Bangalore

About The Gig

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HR Operations Intern to support the HR team in day-to-day operations. This internship offers hands-on exposure to the complete employee lifecycle, HR documentation, HRMS, payroll support, employee engagement, and HR compliance.

What You'll Do

Assist in employee onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring a smooth joining and exit experience.
Support the preparation and issuance of HR documents, including offer letters, appointment letters, internship letters, experience letters, and other HR-related documents.
Maintain employee records and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
Assist in managing employee data on the HRMS (preferably Keka).
Support employee insurance activities, including enrollments, deletions, and documentation.
Prepare and update HR reports, MIS, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel.
Assist in payroll data collection, attendance validation, and leave reconciliation.
Coordinate NPS-related documentation and employee records.
Respond to employee queries and provide administrative support to the HR team.
Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, internal communication, and HR initiatives.
Support HR audits and ensure proper filing of employee records.
Perform other HR operational and administrative tasks as assigned.

What You Bring

Recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Strong interest in HR Operations and employee lifecycle management.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Basic understanding of HRMS (Keka exposure is an added advantage).
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic formulas).
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and eagerness to learn.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
