Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving problems efficiently to maintain system stability and performance. Collaboration with different teams to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement is a key aspect of daily activities, along with documenting findings and solutions to support ongoing system reliability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of system issues and minimize downtime.
Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing.
Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge transfer.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cloud Automation DevOps, AWS or AZure (EKS, AKS, S3), Mircroservices (Java/Spring), IAC - Terraform, Scripts - Shell Scripts, YAML,CI/CD Harness or Jenkins or GitHub Actions
Experience with infrastructure as code tools and automation frameworks related to cloud environments.
Strong understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues involving multiple integrated components.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools to proactively detect and address system anomalies.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Automation DevOps.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
