Job Role: Pre Sales Associate

Job Description:

We are looking for a Pre Sales Associate who is confident, articulate, proactive, and enjoys speaking with potential customers. The role will primarily focus on identifying prospective customers, conducting market and data research, reaching out to prospects through cold calls and other channels, and generating qualified meetings for the sales team.

The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to confidently engage with decision-makers and prospects.

Responsibilities:

Conduct data mining and market research to identify relevant prospects and target accounts.
Build and maintain accurate prospect databases using online research, LinkedIn, company websites, and other sources.
Perform cold calling and outbound prospecting to engage potential customers.
Understand the prospect's business, identify potential requirements, and communicate the value proposition effectively.
Generate and schedule qualified meetings for the Sales / Business Development team.
Follow up with prospects through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and ensure timely movement of leads through the initial sales funnel.
Qualify leads based on basic business requirements, decision-making authority, need, and potential fit.
Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, follow-ups, and meetings in the CRM.
Track daily/weekly outreach activities, calls made, conversations, and meetings generated.
Research industry trends, target companies, and key decision-makers to support outbound sales initiatives.
Consistently work towards achieving lead generation and meeting-booking targets.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
1+ year of experience in Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, Business Development, Lead Generation, Tele-sales, or a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable making cold calls and speaking with new prospects.
Experience in data mining, lead generation, and prospect research.
Ability to identify decision-makers and relevant contacts within target organizations.
Strong persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Good follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working with CRM systems, Excel/Google Sheets, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools.
Strong attention to detail while maintaining prospect and lead data.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and develop a career in Sales / Pre-Sales.
