As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
Document findings and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance system reliability.
Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in MySQL Database Administration.
Strong understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Experience in backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for database systems.
Ability to monitor database health and troubleshoot issues related to database connectivity and integrity.
Familiarity with database security best practices and user access management.
Knowledge of scripting for automation of routine database tasks.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in MySQL Database Administration.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
