We'relooking for a Content Marketing Manager who is passionate about editorial quality, SEO-informed content strategy, content performance, and organic growth.In this role, you will lead content planning, editing, and production, mentor writers, and help ensure our content is clear, useful,accurate, brand-aligned, andoptimizedfor search.

You will shape content that engages customers, supports business goals, and performs across traditional search engines and evolving AI-powered discovery experiences.You will have a direct impact on our inbound strategy, working cross-functionally to ensure every piece of content aligns with user intent, customer needs, brand standards, SEO best practices, and business priorities.

Develop andmaintaineditorial standards that ensure content is clear,accurate, useful, engaging, and aligned with brand voice.

Review and edit drafts to improve structure, clarity, tone, flow, accuracy, usefulness, headlines, calls to action, and readability.

Ensurecontent answers customer questions, reflects search intent, and provides meaningful value beyond surface-level information.

Provide actionable editorial feedback that helps writers strengthen their work and grow their content strategy skills.

Use keyword research, SERP insights, customer-intent research, and performance data toidentifycontent opportunities that support organic growth.

Create andmaintaina content calendar that accounts for product priorities, seasonality, search trends, customer needs, and high-conversion topics.

Translate SEO recommendations into clear editorial direction for writers, stakeholders, and cross-functional partners.

Create clear content briefs that help writers understand the audience, search intent, target topic, structure, key messages, and businessobjective.

Incorporate SEO guidance into briefs, including target keywords, related topics, internal linking opportunities, customer questions, and on-page recommendations.

Review final drafts to ensure content meets customer needs, search intent, brand standards, SEO best practices, and business goals.

Use AI responsibly to support research, briefing, editing, optimization, and analysis whilemaintaininghuman editorial judgment and quality standards.

Perform content audits toidentifyunderperforming, outdated, thin, or unclear content and recommend refreshes, consolidation, expansion, or retirement.

Partner with SEO and analytics teams to review rankings, traffic, CTR, engagement, conversions, and content decay using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console,Ahrefs, and similar platforms.

Translate content performance data into practical recommendations that improve content quality, organic visibility, engagement, and conversions.

Stay current on Google algorithm updates, AI Search experiences, content quality standards, editorial best practices, and organic growth trends.

Train content writers on editorial quality standards, SEO best practices, search intent, content structure, brand voice, AI-assisted workflows, and reader-first writing.

Develop content training resources, editorial examples, templates, and guidelines to help the team create content that ranks, informs, and converts.

Provide regular feedback and coaching to help writers improve clarity, structure, content depth, SEO alignment, and editorial judgment.

Work with SEO, product, design, brand, analytics, and growth teams to ensure content aligns with marketingobjectives, customer needs, and business priorities.

Manage the content production process from brief to draft to review to publication, ensuringtimelyexecution of high-quality, SEO-informed content.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content isaccurate, useful, and aligned with customer needs.

Communicate editorial recommendations, content priorities, performance insights, and next steps clearly to stakeholders.

Who you are & what you'll need to succeed.

5+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial content, digital publishing, or SEO-informed content strategy.

Strong writing, editing, and editorial judgment, with a high bar for clarity, accuracy, usefulness, engagement, and brand voice.

Experience improving content across formats such as blog posts, guides, landing pages, product content, or educational resources.

Strong understanding of how to balance SEO requirements with customer value, editorial quality, brand standards, and conversion goals.

Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, search intent, topic clusters, on-page SEO, internal linking, and content optimization.

Familiarity with SEO tools likeAhrefs,Semrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and analytics platforms.

Experience using SEO insights to shape briefs, improve drafts, guide content decisions, and connect content strategy work to measurable results.

Experience creating SEO-informed content briefs for writers and overseeing content production from ideation through publication.

Strong writing and editing background, with the ability to improve clarity, structure, tone, accuracy, usefulness, and search alignment.

Understanding ofhow to responsibly use AI tools in the content process whilemaintaininghuman review, originality, accuracy, and quality.

Minimum of 2 years of experience leading, mentoring, or coaching content writers, freelancers, or content contributors.

Track recordof developing content marketing initiatives that improve organic visibility, engagement, content quality, and conversions.

Experience providing actionable editorial feedback and developing resources, templates, or guidelines that improve team output.

Strong understanding of SEO and content performance metrics, including keyword rankings, CTR, organic traffic, engagement, conversions, and content decay.

Ability to translate performance data into actionable SEO and editorial recommendations, including when content should be refreshed, expanded,consolidated, repositioned, or retired.

Experience managing content calendars, workflows, deadlines, and cross-functional priorities whilemaintainingquality, attention to detail, and editorial standards.
