Key Responsibilities

Forex Operations

Handle buying and selling of foreign currencies based on customer requirements.
Process forex transactions accurately, including currency notes, forex cards, and international remittances.
Assist customers with travel cards, wire transfers, and other forex-related products.
Monitor daily exchange rates and provide customers with the best available options.
Maintain accurate records of all forex transactions and ensure proper documentation.
Ensure cash handling accuracy and maintain currency inventory.

Compliance & Documentation

Verify customer documents and ensure compliance with KYC and AML requirements.
Adhere to RBI guidelines, FEMA regulations, and internal policies related to forex operations.
Coordinate with banks, authorized dealers, and forex partners for transaction processing.

Customer Service & Sales

Handle customer inquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, and email.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns effectively.
Promote and cross-sell forex and travel-related services, including:
Foreign Currency Notes
Multi-Currency Forex Cards
International Wire Transfers
Travel Insurance
Visa Assistance
International Flight Tickets
International Tour Packages

Reporting & Administration

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transaction reports.
Maintain operational records and support audit requirements.
Ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.

Required Skills

Knowledge of foreign exchange operations and currency conversion.
Understanding of RBI regulations, FEMA guidelines, KYC, and AML requirements.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good numerical ability and cash-handling expertise.
Attention to detail and transaction accuracy.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and forex software.
Ability to work under pressure and achieve business targets.
Sales and cross-selling experience in forex or travel services is preferred.

Preferred Background

Experience in a forex company, travel agency, bank, money exchange, or financial services organization.
Exposure to international remittances, forex cards, and travel services.
Prior experience handling customer-facing forex operations.
