Our client is one of the leading players in the medical devices manufacturing sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior R&D Design Engineer to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the East area.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of new medical products from concept through to production.
Support project planning, execution, and technical coordination throughout the product development lifecycle.
Conduct engineering analysis, prototype evaluation, and design reviews to ensure product performance and compliance.
Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, including design verification, validation, and product transfer.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product quality, manufacturability, cost optimisation, and on-time project delivery.
Enhance existing products through design improvements based on customer feedback, quality findings, and business requirements.
Investigate technical issues and implement effective engineering solutions.
Ensure product designs comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards.
Prepare and maintain design documentation, including Design History File (DHF) and related engineering records.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and perform other engineering duties as assigned.
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned when required.

Requirements:

Min Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline.
Min 5 years of experience in product design, R&D, or new product development within a regulated manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of mechanical design principles.
Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g. CREO, SolidWorks, or equivalent) will be advantageous.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, project coordination, and communication skills.
