Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Associate Creative Director / Creative Studio Head to lead our design organization based in Noida. This is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing a team of Art Directors and designers supporting both corporate marketing initiatives and business-driven marketing across industry verticals, horizontal functions, and regional teams.

As the on-the-ground creative leader, you will be responsible for driving creative excellence, operational rigor, and team performance across a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will serve as a key partner to senior marketing stakeholders across the organization and as a trusted extension of the global creative leadership team.

This role requires a balance of creative vision, hands-on leadership, and operational management—ensuring that all outputs meet the highest quality standards, align with HCLTech's brand, and effectively support a wide range of initiatives, including brand campaigns, ABM programs, events, and regional marketing efforts.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will act as a right-hand in shaping the team's direction, scaling capabilities, and building a strong, high-performing creative culture.

Responsibilities

Creative Leadership & Direction
Lead and oversee the creative output across both corporate campaigns and business marketing initiatives, ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and strategically aligned work.
Provide clear creative vision and direction, elevating the standard of design across all channels and touchpoints.
Guide and review work from multiple teams, ensuring consistency, innovation, and effectiveness.
Champion strong visual storytelling across campaigns, events, ABM programs, and brand initiatives.
Team & Studio Management
Manage and mentor a team of Art Directors, Design Leads, and designers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
Act as the primary creative leader on the ground in Noida, providing day-to-day leadership, support, and escalation management.
Build and scale team capability through coaching, feedback, and talent development, including managing managers.
Define and implement clear team structures, roles, and workflows to support growth and efficiency.
Stakeholder Partnership
Partner closely with corporate marketing, industry, horizontal, and regional stakeholders to understand priorities and translate them into impactful creative solutions.
Act as a senior point of contact, managing expectations and building strong relationships with senior business and marketing leaders.
Collaborate with global creative leadership to ensure alignment on brand standards, creative direction, and strategic priorities.
Operational Excellence
Oversee resource planning, project prioritization, and workflow management across the studio.
Establish and optimize processes, intake systems, and ways of working to support a high-volume, multi-stakeholder environment.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality.
Partner with external vendors and partners as needed to support execution at scale.
Brand & Quality Governance
Act as a steward of the HCLTech brand, ensuring consistency across all outputs while enabling flexibility for diverse business needs.
Maintain and evolve design standards, systems, and templates across corporate and business marketing.
Ensure all creative work meets both brand and production standards, including large-scale and event-based executions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
12–16+ years of professional experience in design, with significant experience in a leadership role.
Proven experience managing and scaling in-house creative teams, including managing managers (Art Directors / Design Leads).
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality, concept-driven work across both brand/campaign and business marketing initiatives.
Experience leading creative for B2B, technology, or enterprise brands.
Demonstrated experience across corporate brand campaigns, ABM, events, and experiential marketing.
Deep understanding of brand systems and governance at scale.
Strong creative vision with the ability to balance strategic thinking and executional excellence.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with senior business and marketing leaders.
Strong operational mindset, with experience improving team processes, workflows, and delivery models.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with complex stakeholder needs.
