Work you'll do

Prepare and maintain a full set of accounts in accordance with the Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, maintain the fixed assets register, and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting schedules for external audits.
Compile and provide relevant financial information and documentation required by tax agents and external auditors.
Prepare annual budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections to support business planning.
Manage and advise on e-Invoice implementation and submission processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Leverage automation tools and digital solutions to improve operational efficiency and support finance engagements.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting while maintaining compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal policies.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or a professional qualification such as ACCA, MIA, or MICPA.
Senior Associate role: Minimum of 2 - 4 years of relevant working experience, preferably within a professional services firm.
Associate role: Minimum of 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience.
Strong command of both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) will be an added advantage.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge and hands-on experience in Deferred Tax, Sales and Service Tax (SST), and the SAP Finance module will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
