We are seeking an accomplished and intellectually curious researcher to join our Human Capital Global Analytics and Reporting (GAR) team in Hyderabad, India. The GAR team partners closely with global recruitment, talent management, and HC leadership teams to deliver data-driven insights and analytical solutions that support strategic decision-making across the firm. This role sits at the intersection of people analytics and applied research, working closely with our HC Research team in New York on large-scale studies that help business leaders make informed decisions about their people. Projects span a broad range of topics across recruiting, talent assessment, workforce dynamics, and employee outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a solid foundation in statistics and applied research methods, the ability to translate complex findings into clear and compelling narratives, and the intellectual curiosity to tackle open-ended questions with rigor and creativity. This is a high-visibility role with meaningful opportunities to shape how the firm thinks about its people.

WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

In this role, you will use inferential statistics and applied research methods to design and conduct internal studies for business leaders, enabling data-informed decisions about recruiting, talent, and the workforce. You will work on a range of people analytics topics, from understanding what drives hiring success to identifying patterns in employee development and retention. You will run analysis with employee data, synthesize findings into cohesive narratives, and develop clear, well-structured reports and visualizations for an executive audience. A significant part of the role involves translating quantitative results into actionable insights that are accessible to non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with the HC Research team in New York on research projects and studies. You will also support and maintain ongoing research and experiments, ensuring continuity, rigor, and consistency as studies evolve over time.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

The ideal candidate should hold-

Basic qualifications:

A degree in statistics, economics, statistics-heavy social sciences, or a related quantitative field
2 to 6 years of experience in an analytical or research role, applying quantitative methods to real-world business or academic questions
A robust foundation in inferential statistics and research design, including experience with methods such as regression, hypothesis testing, Bayesian statistics, and experimental or observational study design
The ability to critically question results, test assumptions, and validate findings before drawing conclusions
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and statistical modeling, along with solid Excel skills
The ability to write clearly and compellingly, weaving data and insights into narratives that resonate with a senior, non-technical audience
Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and adapt to evolving priorities

Preferred qualifications:

An interest in human and organizational behavior, and experience applying statistical methods to behavioral or workforce data
Experience with data visualization tools or libraries, with a sound instinct for presenting findings clearly for executive audiences
Experience with AI-assisted tools and a demonstrated interest in using them to improve research workflows and deliverables
Prior experience working with global or cross-functional teams on complex, open-ended research questions
Prior experience in HR or people analytics
