In the role of Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves taking ownership of the design and continuous improvement of packaged or cloud-based solutions. This includes managing the configuration processes, coordinating integrations with various systems, and overseeing the release cycles to ensure smooth deployment. The role requires setting and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance while aligning with both business objectives and vendor requirements. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to drive solution evolution and address emerging challenges is a key aspect of daily activities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance platform reliability and efficiency.
Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Portfolio and Project Management, SAP Project System (PS).
Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management within enterprise software environments.
Experience in configuring and integrating complex software solutions to meet business needs.
Ability to establish and enforce platform standards that support scalability and performance.
Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software releases.
Competence in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues impacting project delivery.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in SAP Portfolio and Project Management.
This position is based at our HDC4 - SEZ location.
