Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end testing activities for Core Banking applications and transformation initiatives.
Prepare test strategy, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on business and functional requirements.
Execute Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
Review business requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
Coordinate with business users, developers, solution architects, and project managers throughout the testing lifecycle.
Identify, log, track, and resolve defects using defect management tools.
Perform impact analysis for system enhancements and production releases.
Support release validation, production verification, and post-deployment testing.
Prepare testing metrics, status reports, and defect summaries for stakeholders.
Mentor junior QA engineers and promote testing best practices.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Core Banking Testing.
Solid understanding of banking products such as CASA, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Customer Information, and General Ledger.
Hands-on experience in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, API Testing, and End-to-End Testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM/Quality Center, or Azure DevOps.
Ability to analyze business requirements and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience

8–15+ years of experience in Software Testing within the Banking and Financial Services domain.
Proven hands-on experience in Core Banking Testing across multiple testing phases and large-scale banking transformation or implementation projects.
