An international engineering and technology company is expanding its regional commercial team and is seeking experienced Strategic Account Manager / Director to drive growth across the Asia Pacific region. This role focuses on building executive-level relationships with major enterprise customers involved in mission-critical infrastructure projects, particularly within the rapidly growing data centre sector.

Working closely with regional and country teams, you will shape long-term customer strategies, identify opportunities early in the project lifecycle and develop tailored solutions for complex capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic account plans for major enterprise customers across APAC.
Build relationships with senior decision-makers across engineering, procurement, operations and executive leadership.
Engage customers early during planning and design phases to influence technical and commercial outcomes.
Coordinate regional opportunities with local sales, engineering and product teams.
Support the development of customised infrastructure solutions aligned with customer performance and sustainability objectives.
Lead commercial discussions for large, multi-country projects and long-term partnership agreements.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide strategic market intelligence.

Requirements

Degree in Engineering, Business or a related discipline.
Proven experience managing strategic or enterprise accounts within HVAC, cooling, mission-critical infrastructure or related industrial technologies.
Experience selling complex capital equipment or integrated technical solutions.
Strong understanding of large infrastructure projects, ideally within the data centre ecosystem.
Track record of engaging C-level executives and managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Experience working across multiple countries within Asia Pacific is highly desirable.
Excellent commercial negotiation, relationship management and presentation skills.
