Key Responsibilities

Direct/State Client Focus: Manage full-cycle recruitment specifically for state government clients, adhering to stringent, specialized, and public sector requirements.
Sourcing & Screening: Use platforms like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and LinkedIn to identify IT talent.
VMS/MSP Management: Actively manage and submit candidates through VMS (Vendor Management Systems) and MSP (Managed Service Providers) portals.
Technical Assessment: Conduct initial technical and interviews to assess suitability for complex IT roles (e.g., Software Developers, Analysts, Architects).
Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate salary, hourly rates, and benefits while ensuring compliance with US employment laws, tax terms (W2, 1099, C2C), and visa types (H1B, Green Card).
Candidate Experience: Manage the end-to-end hiring process, from sourcing to onboarding, while building a robust talent pipeline.

Qualifications

Experience: 5–10 years of experience in US IT recruitment, with specific experience supporting state government clients.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT roles, technology stacks, and technical jargon.
