About the Role

SecPod is looking for an experienced Head of Product Marketing to define how the market understands, values, and adopts our products. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, analyst relations, competitive intelligence, sales enablement, and category creation. We're looking for someone who enjoys simplifying complex technologies into compelling business value and who can shape industry conversations.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Positioning & Messaging

Develop compelling positioning and messaging for the Saner Platform and its product portfolio.
Create differentiated value propositions for enterprise buyers, CISOs, security teams, and channel partners.
Continuously refine messaging based on customer feedback, competitive landscape, and market trends.
Ensure consistent messaging across all customer-facing assets.

Go-to-Market Strategy

Own GTM strategy for new product launches and major releases.
Define target personas, use cases, market segments, and launch plans.
Partner with Product Management and Sales to drive successful product adoption.
Develop launch playbooks and execution plans.

Category Leadership

Help establish and evangelize categories such as:

Continuous Exposure Management (CEM)
AI Security
Cloud Security (CNAPP)
Endpoint and Patch Management

Create thought leadership that shapes industry conversations.

Support executive speaking engagements and industry events.

Competitive Intelligence

Build and maintain competitive battlecards.
Monitor industry trends, analyst reports, and market movements.
Develop competitive positioning against vendors such as Tenable, Qualys, Wiz, Palo Alto Networks, Microsoft, Rapid7, and others.
Enable Sales and Sales Engineering with competitive insights.

Sales Enablement

Create high-quality sales collateral including:

Pitch decks
Product presentations
Battlecards
Objection handling guides
Solution briefs
Customer presentations
ROI messaging

Conduct regular enablement sessions for Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and partners.

Analyst & Influencer Relations

Support engagements with Gartner, Forrester, IDC, GigaOm, Frost & Sullivan, and other analysts.
Build relationships with industry influencers and cybersecurity communities.
Manage product submissions for analyst evaluations.

Customer & Market Insights

Conduct customer interviews to understand buying behavior and market needs.
Translate customer insights into positioning and GTM improvements.
Work closely with Customer Success to capture customer stories and references.

Product Content

Lead the development of high-quality technical and business content including:

Product webpages
Solution briefs
Whitepapers
Technical briefs
Case studies
Competitive comparisons
Webinars
Product videos
Demo narratives

Required QualificationsMust Have

8+ years of Product Marketing experience in a cybersecurity product company.

Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity markets.

Experience positioning products in one or more of:

Vulnerability Management
Exposure Management
CNAPP
CSPM
CWPP
Cloud Security
Kubernetes Security

Proven experience launching enterprise software products globally.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Experience working closely with Product Management and Sales.

Strong storytelling and messaging skills.

Ability to simplify highly technical concepts for business audiences.
