A&D Sales Representative – Mumbai, India

We are looking for a professional with a strong commercial mindset and a genuine affinity for architecture and interior design to represent PORCELANOSA in Mumbai. This position is focused on developing long-term relationships with architecture and interior design studios, real‑estate developers, and building contractors, and on organising presentation meetings and networking events, while ensuring expert guidance and an outstanding customer experience with our products.

In this regard, our representative is expected to generate and manage a sales pipeline of business opportunities in projects of all scales, from specification and quotation to ensuring product purchase by contractors.

Profile Requirements

Highly sales-oriented professional with a strategic vision and proven networking capabilities.
Organised, dynamic, independent, and responsible individual, committed to delivering a high level of service.
Based in Mumbai, with an established network of contacts in the city within architecture, interior design, and real estate development.
Minimum 3 years of experience in sales of luxury/premium brands, technical consulting, or similar roles within the design or construction sector.
Degree, training, or professional experience in architecture, interior design, or related disciplines will be highly valued.
Full professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in Hindi and/or Marathi will be positively valued, particularly for communication with local contractors, developers and other stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, professional presence, and the ability to understand both aesthetic and technical requirements.
Strong sensitivity to design, trends, and premium materials, with knowledge of at least two of the following product categories: ceramic tiles, sintered stone, bathroom fittings, kitchens, furniture, façades.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and business development activities targeting architects, designers, and real estate developers, actively identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth.
Advise these professional clients on products, trends, and technical solutions, aligning proposals with commercial objectives.
Deliver professional presentations and support the specification of materials for projects, with a clear focus on conversion and project acquisition.
Generate and manage product specification inquiries, quotation requests, and client needs, ensuring precise, detail-oriented service while advancing sales opportunities.
Support the organization, maintenance, and presentation of products in studio material libraries, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
Collaborate with internal departments to coordinate technical information, product availability, and follow-up, ensuring efficient project and sales pipeline management.
Maintain an organized and up-to-date client and activity database in Salesforce, tracking opportunities and supporting sales performance.
Coordinate with and report to the Country Manager, organizing introductions, business meetings, and technical presentations for brand representatives within architecture and interior design studios.
