Job Responsibilities

Test Design and Execution

Analyze project requirements and design comprehensive test cases and scenarios for functional, API, and data validation.

Apply risk-based testing techniques to prioritize test execution based on business impact and technical risk.

Execute manual and automated tests tovalidatefunctionality, performance, and data accuracy.

Maintain and update automated test scripts with guidance from senior automation engineers.

Perform regression and smoke testing as part of continuous integration pipelines.

Defect Identification and Reporting

Identify, document, and prioritize defects using tools like JIRA.

Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues quickly.

Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes and avoidreoccurences.

Collaboration with the Test Automation Team

Work closely with automation engineers to integrate automated tests into sprint delivery.

Identifymanual test cases that can be automated to increase coverage.

Assistin debugging failed automated scripts and updating them as needed.

Create automated test scripts using any automation tool and bring valueaddsto the project.

Collaboration and Communication

Engage early in thedevelopmentlifecycle to provide input on requirements and designs (shift-left testing).

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Communicate test progress, risks, and blockers to the teamin a timely manner.

Work with product owners and business analysts to clarify requirements.

Documentation and Reporting

Maintain detailed andaccuratetest documentation, including test cases, execution results, and defect reports.

Ensure test evidence meetsGxPcompliance standards where applicable.

Contribute to test summary reports that provide visibility into quality metrics.

Ensure test coverage maps to requirements through Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTMs).

Continuous Improvement

Actively learn and apply automation skills to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance QA practices.

Stay updated on QA tools, frameworks, industry best practices, andGxPguidelines.

Actively use AI tools to improve theefficiencyand save time in creating test scripts.

Summary

3+ years of QA Tester - a key contributor within the QA Tester track, responsible for executing and maintaining quality assurance activities with a focus on delivering high-quality software products. This role applies risk-based testing approaches to prioritize efforts based on business and technical risk, while learning and applying GxP compliance requirements to ensure work meets regulatory standards. The QA Tester practices shift-left testing by engaging early in the development lifecycle to prevent defects, collaborates closely with development and product teams, and actively expands skills in test automation (Playwright) to enable in-sprint delivery, should have database testing skills (SQL). Concentrates on utilizing AI tools.
