Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP ABAP APO Consultant to lead and drive the development, enhancement, and support of SAP APO applications. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in integrating APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP ABAP development and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP APO solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
Develop, test, and deploy SAP APO modules, including Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, and Inventory Optimization.
Integrate SAP APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA systems, ensuring data consistency and efficient data exchange.
Optimize APO processes and performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP APO applications, resolving issues promptly.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Document and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and knowledge base articles.
Stay updated with the latest SAP APO technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions.
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP APO.
Proven expertise in developing and supporting SAP APO applications, with a strong understanding of APO modules.
Experience in integrating SAP APO with SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes is mandatory.
Excellent knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including ABAP Objects, OOPs concepts, and SAP HANA.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and its integration capabilities.
Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 development is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
