We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in MS SQL, performance optimizations, and archive handling. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining our database systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security.

Design, develop, and maintain MS SQL databases.
Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.
Handle database archiving and data retention policies.
Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement and maintain database security measures.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
Perform database migrations and upgrades.
Develop and maintain documentation for database systems and processes.
Provide support for database-related issues and incidents.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge in writing and optimizing stored procedures (SPs).
Expertise in creating and managing database schemas.
Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL.
Strong knowledge of database performance optimization techniques.
Experience with database archiving and data retention.
Familiarity with database security best practices.
Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) jobs.
