Summary:

As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying system anomalies and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, and collaborating with different teams to maintain system stability and performance, thereby supporting the overall business objectives effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of software issues.
Document findings and solutions to enhance knowledge sharing within the team.
Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools.
Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster their development.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex SAP ABAP programs.
Strong understanding of database concepts and performance optimization in HANA environments.
Ability to analyze and interpret technical documentation and system logs.
Familiarity with SAP modules integration and business process flows.
Capability to work with development and support teams to implement effective solutions.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
