About the Role

K C Mehta & Co LLP is inviting applications from CA/ CMA with 8–10 years of experience in Indirect Taxation.

Responsibilities

Lead GST compliance, advisory, and litigation assignments
Manage assessments, audits, and departmental representations
Provide strategic insights on complex indirect tax matters
Build and manage strong client relationships
Mentor, supervise, and review work of team members
Handle GST due diligence and health checks for clients
Advise clients on tax optimization and risk mitigation strategies
Draft replies to notices, appeals, and submissions before authorities
Keep clients updated on regulatory changes and their impact
Coordinate with internal teams for multi-disciplinary assignments
Support business development initiatives, including proposal drafting and client pitches
Develop internal knowledge resources and conduct team training sessions

Qualifications

CA/ CMA with 8–10 years of experience in Indirect Taxation.

Required Skills

Strong technical expertise in GST and Indirect Tax laws
Proven experience in litigation and handling tax authorities
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple engagements efficiently
