Responsibilities :

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, build, and deliver end-to-end features across React/Angular frontends and Java/Node.js microservices, integrated with REST APIs and Kafka-based event streams.

Own prompt structuring, validation, and refinement for AI-generated code - ensuring correctness, security compliance, and adherence to Citizens engineering standards.

Leverage AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) by authoring customisations - agents, skills, hooks, MCP servers, and plugins - to accelerate development without sacrificing quality.

Build multi-agent AI applications using Agent SDKs to orchestrate workflows where agents collaborate or hand off tasks to each other.

Implement and champion test-driven development (TDD) across unit, integration, and contract testing layers using Jasmine/Jest/Karma.

Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and cloud-native deployments on AWS/Azure using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).

Maintain observability standards - structured logging (ELK/Datadog), alerting (Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics), and performance profiling.

Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to translate business goals into scalable, compliant technical solutions.

Manage parallel workstreams and evolving requirements, ensuring incremental and continuous value delivery through agile practices.

High proficiency using AI coding agents (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) with a strong understanding of AI-driven and AI-managed coding workflows.

Solid grounding in prompt engineering - structuring, iterating, and validating prompts for consistent, production-quality code generation.
