Role Summary

The Service Engineer is responsible for day-to-day operational excellence, monitoring, and support of directory and authentication services. This role ensures stability while growing into deeper engineering capability.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

Monitor identity services and respond to alerts and incidents.
Support authentication, MFA, and directory-related issues.
Execute standard changes and maintenance tasks.

Incident & Problem Management

Participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
Document runbooks, procedures, and operational knowledge.
Escalate systemic issues with strong technical context.

Platform Hygiene

Perform health checks, cleanup, and compliance tasks.
Support patching, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.

Automation Exposure

Execute automated workflows and gradually contribute improvements.
Learn identity engineering and security fundamentals.

Required Skills & Experience

3-6 years in IAM or directory services operations
Foundational knowledge of:

Entra ID / Azure AD
Active Directory
MFA and authentication flows

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Desire to grow into senior engineering roles
