Summary:

As a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and maintaining system stability to ensure seamless operation. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while preserving compatibility and optimal performance across systems. Collaboration with different teams and continuous monitoring of application health are integral parts of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to optimize application configurations to improve efficiency and user experience.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to support professional growth.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Purview.
Strong understanding of cloud-based application configuration and management.
Experience working with APIs and integration tools to connect various software components.
Familiarity with low-code platforms to customize and extend application functionality.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues to maintain system stability and performance.
Knowledge of release management processes and version control practices.

Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Purview.
This position is based at our Pune office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
