We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead and expand our FMCG business across Madhurai and other southern districts.

Position: Regional Sales Manager – FMCG

Location: Madhurai-Virudhunagar

Experience: 8–12 years in FMCG sales (Team handling experience is mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

Drive primary & secondary sales across Chennai and nearby districts
Lead, motivate and manage Sales / Area teams
Appoint, manage and develop distributors & key accounts
Ensure effective execution of schemes, promotions and visibility plans
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Track market movement, competitor activity and expansion opportunities

Candidate Profile (Mandatory)

Must have thorough working knowledge of the FMCG market in southern districts of Tamilnadu
Strong experience in FMCG channel sales
Proven regional team handling and distributor management skills
Excellent planning, negotiation and communication skills
Willing to travel extensively within the region

Qualifications

Proven experience in sales strategy development, team management, and achieving measurable sales targets.
Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and key account / client management.
Excellent analytical ability to interpret sales data, distributor performance, and market trends.
In-depth knowledge of the regional FMCG market (Madhurai & nearby districts); exposure to the oral care or related category will be an added advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to lead, guide and motivate regional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Prior experience in a Regional / Territory Sales role is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Tamil and local market communication is a strong advantage.
