As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous monitoring, collaboration with different teams, and delivering timely solutions to maintain system reliability and performance in a dynamic environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system issues and implement effective resolutions.
Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
Assist in the continuous improvement of support processes and tools to enhance service delivery.
Provide timely updates and clear communication to stakeholders regarding issue status and resolution progress.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Handson experience in Python and AWS.
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex software issues.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting software applications in a production environment.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and techniques to detect and diagnose system anomalies.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate technical information clearly.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and application support best practices.
Hands-on experience in developing AWS services like Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, EventBridge, S3, EC2, AWS API, Athena
Hands-on experience in writing lambda functions in Python, AWS API Development Python + AWS, Glue Pyspark
Experience with serverless computing and microservices architecture.

This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
