We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Associate – Statutory Reporting. Reporting to the Manager, this full-time and permanent position is based in Mumbai, India and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Global Service Centre and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

Assist in Statutory audit.
Conduct audit testing in accordance with established checklists and guidelines.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for all tested samples to ensure audit traceability.
Review, refine, and enhance the scope of audit tests to better align with client-specific requirements.
Collaborate with senior auditors to address and resolve open items, identified gaps, and audit findings.
Support the enhancement of internal controls and procedures within the ongoing audit framework.
Prepare standard working papers for statutory audits, tax reviews, and annual financial statements.
Develop bridge files and supporting documents to facilitate final client approvals and audit signoffs.
Stay informed on regulatory and industry developments affecting the client portfolio.
Promptly escalate any issues or concerns to senior team members or leadership for resolution.

Proficient in both written and spoken English with effective communication skills.
Strong presentation skills and a client-focused approach.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
Highly motivated, self-starter capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.

[Relevant experience]

Professionally qualified or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
Hands-on experience in statutory audits, preparation of financial statements, and audit coordination.

[Education/Professional Qualifications]

CA (Inter), CA Fresher, or Experienced Chartered Accountant.
Additional qualifications such as DipIFR (Diploma in IFRS) is a plus.
