Job Description:

We are growing our Prime Brokerage Operations team to support increasing trading activity, broader product coverage and expanding regional business. These roles sit at the core of the Prime Brokerage platform, working closely with internal Business and Dealing teams to ensure trades are booked accurately, settlements are completed on time, and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role offering exposure across the full prime brokerage trade lifecycle, including trade booking, settlement, reconciliations and daily production support. You will play a direct role in supporting live trading activity, managing operational exceptions and contributing to a growing operating environment.

The positions also provide opportunities to work across regional trading hours, gain practical experience in complex prime brokerage flows, and grow with a business that continues to expand its product and market coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

Prime Brokerage Trade, Booking & Settlement Operations

• Support the full prime brokerage trade lifecycle, including trade booking, manual or offline trade capture, amendments, cancellations, rebooking and position transfers across asset classes including equities, fixed income, structured products, CFDs and listed derivatives

• Maintain and support broker booking accounts, including trade allocation, corrections and operational setup.

• Monitor trade settlement status across prime brokerage flows, proactively identify settlement risks or fails, and follow up with relevant internal teams or brokers to ensure timely resolution.

• Support operational handling of corporate action-related trades and cash movements where applicable.

Daily Production, Reconciliations & Operational Controls

• Support daily operational processes across pre-EOD, EOD and post-EOD cycles to ensure accurate and timely processing.

• Perform reconciliations across trades, positions and cash balances, investigate breaks, identify root causes and support corrective actions.

• Handle operational adjustments to trades, cash, rates, margins and financing arising from corrections, late instructions or rebooking.

• Support report and statement generation, including regeneration and re-delivery where required to ensure clean end-of-day output.

Business Support, Exception Management & Regional Coverage

• Act as a key operational support partner to internal Business and Dealing teams, handling day-to-day operational queries and exception management.

• Provide clear and timely updates on trade processing, settlement progress and issue resolution to business stakeholders.

• Support extended operating hours, including early-morning Australia and India time zones, to ensure continuity of Prime Brokerage operations.

• Contribute to operational stability by proactively identifying issues, escalating where appropriate, and supporting continuous improvement of BAU processes.

Key Skills & Competencies / Preferred Attributes

• 5–10 years of relevant experience within a broker-dealer environment, covering Prime Brokerage, brokerage or post-trade operations.

• Strong understanding of the broker-dealer trade lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement processing and broker booking accounts.

• Experience with trade processing and settlement systems

• Knowledge of stock loan, margin and financing products

• Hands-on experience performing reconciliations across trades, positions and cash, with the ability to investigate and resolve breaks.

• Proven capability in manual or offline trade booking, amendments, rebooking and operational exception handling.

• Solid appreciation of broker-dealer controls, cut-offs and regulatory discipline, particularly around settlement and EOD processing.

• Effective communicator, able to support and engage internal Business and Dealing teams with clear, timely operational updates.

• Comfortable operating in a high-volume, BAU-driven broker-dealer environment, balancing accuracy, timeliness and control.

• Willingness to support shift-based and regional coverage, including early-morning Australia and India time zones in execution.
