Key Responsibilities:

1. Laundry Operations:

Assist in sorting, loading, and unloading laundry machines.
Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment according to established guidelines.
Follow laundry procedures to ensure the proper washing, drying, folding, and ironing of textiles.
Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear and report any issues.

Assist in monitoring and managing laundry supplies, including detergents, chemicals, and other necessary items.
Report low inventory levels and assist with replenishing supplies.

4. Safety and Hygiene:

Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor.

5. Customer Service:

Work closely with the laundry team to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to the hotels housekeeping department.
Assist in responding to guest requests for laundry services and address any guest concerns or complaints.

6. Assistance to the Supervisor:

Support the Asst. Laundry Manager or Housekeeping Manager in various tasks, such as inventory tracking, equipment maintenance, and reporting.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in laundry operations is a plus but not always required.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards.
Ability to operate laundry equipment and follow laundry procedures.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of safety and hygiene protocols.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
