A post that was close but not quite. By now, you know a great visual isn't just pretty, it's doing a job. And you're here to make sure it does that job brilliantly.

Here's what we hope you can do

Lead art direction across the whole spectrum with a visual point of view that's hard to ignore. Every medium is different, every canvas has its own rules, and we want someone who knows how to play by them and break them in equal measure.
Translate briefs into visual worlds that go beyond the ask. Moodboards that actually have a mood. Layouts that breathe. The brief is the starting point, not the ceiling.
Build ideas with the copy team. You won't find us saying here's the copy, now make it look good.
Stay relentlessly current on design trends, visual culture, platform behaviour, and whatever the internet decided is cool this week. Then stay one step ahead of all of it.
Mentor and manage the art team with the kind of feedback that makes people better, not smaller.
Set the standard not by talking about it, but by showing it in the work you bring, the questions you ask, and the ideas you push the team to find.
Fight hard for the work your team believes in, then, whatever the outcome, accept it with grace and bring something even better to the next brief.
Work closely with account managers and producers, because great work doesn't happen in a creative vacuum.
Quality-check everything that leaves your desk, not just for aesthetics, but for effectiveness. A beautiful post that doesn't stop the scroll has failed. Pretty that doesn't pull its weight gets sent back, no matter how pretty it is.
Oversee production so the final output actually matches the ambition of the original concept. Because nothing is more heartbreaking than a great idea that gets slowly diluted between approval and execution. Be the one who holds the line.
Adapt your visual thinking across categories, formats, and briefs without ever losing your voice or your standards. A skincare brand and a fintech startup shouldn't look the same, but the rigour, the curiosity, and the craft you bring to both absolutely should.

What we're looking for

Someone who knows the difference between a visual that's nice and a visual that works. Someone who's led a team before, or is ready to, with everything they've got.

8+ years in advertising / design
Strong portfolio across digital & print
Team leadership experience
Multi-category exposure
Production know-how
Film & motion sensibility is a bonus
