The Role

The Business Development Associate will be responsible for generating new business leads and sales for the S & S Brokerage. This individual will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and logistics, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Promote logistics services, pitch to clients, and close profitable deals.
Source new business leads through cold calling and referrals.
Build strong client relationships and handle objections effectively.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of shipments.
Identify and develop new logistics opportunities across regions.
Use CRM tools to track leads and manage client outreach.

Qualifications

0–3 years of experience in sales, business development, logistics coordination, or Customer Service
Proven ability in lead generation through cold calling and CRM-based outreach.
Strong skills in client relationship management, objection handling, and customer service.
Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to manage cross-functional tasks.
