We are currently a team of seventeen, based in London and India with responsibility for partnering with our Global operational teams. You'll join a dynamic, fast paced innovative team, made up of enthusiastic and experienced finance professionals. You'll help us drive business performance by continually challenging our ways of working, developing a best-in-class accounts payable process. The Role

You are a qualified accountant who is keen to work in a rapidly evolving business - providing business insight and ensuring our standards and compliance are best-in-class. You'll thrive on process innovation and challenging the status quo to achieve great results.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts and supporting analysis
Ownership of group balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany balances
Assist in the preparation of the consolidated management accounts and reporting for the Board and external investors;
Management of the SAP system to meet the developing needs of the business, maintaining the chart of accounts and other masterdata and managing internal controls;
Work closely with the People team to further develop overseas payroll processes;
Assist with company's auditors during the interim and yearend review to confirm the transactions and balances reported in the financial statements;
Support the Financial Reporting team in the processing of accounts payable, bank payments and reconciliations;
Contribute to ad hoc projects including fundraising, forecasting and business development.

What We Think You'll Need

A qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) with up to (roughly) 2 years experience post qualification - we are open to backgrounds both in industry or practice!
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax compliance requirements
Outstanding spreadsheet skills and knowledge of financial reporting systems (preferably SAP)
A track record of process improvement and innovation
Demonstrates ambition and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
