Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Visualization Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in cloud-based data engineering and analytics. This role blends data engineering + BI visualization, with a strong focus on building scalable data pipelines and transforming them into meaningful business insights using Tableau.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, AWS Glue, S3, APIs, and PL/SQL, with a strong ability to translate complex datasets into executive-ready dashboards and storytelling visualizations.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Integration

Design and build data pipelines using AWS Glue and Snowflake for structured and semi-structured datasets
Develop ingestion frameworks using:

APIs (REST-based ingestion)
Batch and near real-time processing

Manage and optimize data lakes on AWS S3
Implement transformation logic using SQL / PL-SQL

Data Modelling & Preparation

Design semantic layers and data models for BI consumption
Optimize datasets for high-performance analytics in Tableau
Build aggregated, curated datasets aligned with business KPIs
Ensure schema evolution and data standardization

Visualization & BI Development (Core Responsibility)

Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau
Create executive-level visual storytelling (KPIs, trends, drill-downs)
Define and implement:

Data visualization best practices
Dashboard performance optimization
Reusable reporting templates

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with:

Business stakeholders
Data analysts
Data engineering teams

Translate business requirements into data models and dashboards
Provide insights and recommendations based on data
