Job Title: Sr. Executive – Accounting (GL)

About the Role

Role focused on General Ledger (GL) accounting and financial operations. Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting close processes. Work with internal teams to ensure smooth accounting operations and reporting.

Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
Perform account reconciliations and variance analysis
Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies
Support preparation of financial reports and statements
Assist in audit processes and documentation
Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and controls
Collaborate with teams for process improvements and efficiency

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (Mandatory)
M.Com / MBA (Finance) – Preferred
CA Inter / CMA Inter – Good to have (not mandatory)

Required Skills

Strong experience in General Ledger (GL) Accounting
Experience in month-end close and reconciliations
Hands-on experience with journal entries and accruals
Good understanding of accounting principles
Strong Excel skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

Preferred Skills

Experience with ERP systems
Exposure to audit support and documentation
Experience working in shared services / corporate environment
