Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Reporting

Review and approve key financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations
Ensure accuracy and completeness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Perform monthly reviews of sales and purchase transactions, reconciliations, and mark-to-market (MTM) valuations
Review AR/AP aging, fixed assets, and lease schedules
Oversee and ensure timely month-end closing and reporting processes

Tax Compliance

Coordinate tax compliance matters across jurisdictions (e.g. VAT, corporate tax)
Work closely with external tax advisors on filing and reporting requirements
Support transfer pricing and regulatory compliance activities
Liaise with head office finance and tax teams on related matters

Controls & Audit

Requirements

Degree in Accountancy or a related discipline
Around 5-8 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or tax functions
Good knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g. SFRS)
Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction tax compliance (e.g. VAT, corporate tax)
Experience in reviewing work or guiding junior team members is an advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Exact)
