We're Looking For

A detail-oriented and organized individual to join our content operations team as an Ad-Mapping or Ad-Tagging Executive. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, log, and tag commercial break slots and advertising markers in television shows or media content for broadcast or OTT platforms. This is a critical function that ensures accurate ad insertion and revenue generation through effective ad inventory management. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven track record of executing tasks independently, and operating with urgency, focus and discipline.
Passion for American television / movies with understanding of brands, movies, and general advertising.
Exceptional organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Proven track record of successfully following detailed procedural documentation.
Ability to learn new internal systems and tools quickly.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Core Responsibilities

Watch and analyze TV shows or long-form video content to identify suitable ad insertion points.
Accurately tag and mark pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll ad breaks using internal software tools.
Ensure ad breaks do not interfere with storytelling flow or violate platform guidelines.
Collaborate with the content, scheduling, and ad operations teams to coordinate ad mapping with programming schedules.
Conduct quality checks to verify correct placement and duration of ad breaks.
Maintain detailed documentation and logs of tagged content.
Monitor and update ad tags in case of any content revisions or schedule changes.
Ensure compliance with platform policies and regulatory standards (e.g., no ads in restricted segments or sensitive content).
Accurately identify and categorize the type of advertisement, the brand, and the product being advertised to log into internal database

It'll Be Helpful If You Have

Bachelor's degree in media studies, Communications, or a related field
2+ years of experience in ad clipping / databasing roles
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Familiarity with video editing/timestamping tools or ad-tagging software.
Good understanding of TV and OTT content formats (US based).
Experience with platforms like VOD ad platforms (e.g., FreeWheel, Google Ad Manager, Yospace).
Knowledge of broadcast schedules, OTT content workflows, or digital ad tech.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Willingness to work in rotational shifts or weekend schedules, if required
