Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, trend-savvy Fashion Designer based in Nagpur to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of current fashion trends, a strong sense of aesthetics, and extensive knowledge of fabrics and garment construction. You will play a key role in conceptualizing and designing collections that align with our brand's vision and appeal to our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

Research global fashion trends, emerging styles, and consumer preferences in the fashion market
Develop seasonal collections from concept to final product, including sketches, tech packs, and fabric selections
Source and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials based on quality, feel, and trend relevance
Collaborate with product development, sourcing, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and execution
Create mood boards and presentations to communicate design direction and inspiration
Participate in fittings, providing input on design adjustments, and ensuring quality standards

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in Fashion Design is a must
2+ years of experience as a fashion designer
Strong knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and fabric properties
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CorelDRAW software
Excellent sketching and design presentation skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Highly creative with a keen eye for detail and style

Preferred:

Experience working with a contemporary or emerging fashion brand
Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices
NIFT graduate
Based out of Nagpur
