You are Responsible for:

Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement
Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS), regulatory requirements, and company policies
Develop and maintain internal controls, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data
Collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes and implement audit recommendations
Analyze financial results, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions
Cross function on improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax laws
Ensure closure of books of accounts as per timelines
Compile financial reporting packages
Respond and action compliance and audit requests originating from both internal and external stakeholders.

To succeed in this role – you should have the following:

CA with 3-6 Years of experience in controllership role.
Result-oriented with an ownership and accountability mindset
Executive presence, influential management and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders
Technical Accounting & Reporting Expertise: Master financial reporting, internal controls, timely book closure, and tax.
Strategic Business Acumen: Analyze financial data to provide strategic insights and drive business efficiency.
Influential Communication & Stakeholder Management: Influentially communicate financial data to auditors, leadership, and business partners.
Proactive Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively manage internal controls and expertly handle all audit and compliance requests.
Ownership, Accountability, & Execution Excellence: Lead with total ownership and accountability, ensuring timely and excellent execution.
