We are seeking a skilled Legal Officer with 2-8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in corporate law, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to ensuring legal compliance within our organization. You will play a critical role in managing legal risks, providing strategic legal advice, and supporting various departments in navigating legal challenges.

This position is preferred for female candidates.

Responsibilities

Drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and agreements to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Providing legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.
Conducting legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases and to keep updated with changes in laws.
Representing the company in legal proceedings and negotiations when necessary.
Managing and coordinating with external legal counsel on complex legal matters.
Maintaining proper documentation and legal records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
Training and educating staff on legal compliance and risk management.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
Minimum 2-8 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in corporate law or litigation.
Strong understanding of Indian legal system, contract law, labor law, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal agreements.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present legal concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with legal software and tools for documentation and case management.
A valid license to practice law in India.
