Position: Accounts & Finance Executive

Role & Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting: post vouchers, maintain general ledger and reconcile subsidiary ledgers to ensure books are accurate and up-to-date.
Process and validate vendor invoices, employee reimbursements and vendor payments; manage accounts payable workflows and vendor reconciliations.
Raise and track customer invoices, follow up on collections and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies to optimise cash flow.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations, prepare month-end schedules and support the month-end close process and journal entries.
Prepare and file statutory returns: GST return preparation/support, TDS calculations and coordination with tax consultants for compliance.
Support external and internal audits, prepare MIS / financial schedules, and provide inputs for financial analysis and process improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting and month-end close for small to mid-size organisations.
Proficiency with TallyPrime.
Strong MS Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, basic macros) for reconciliations and MIS reporting.
Practical knowledge of GST compliance and returns.
Understanding of TDS rules and filing processes.
Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations.

Preferred

Exposure to QuickBooks or Zoho Books.
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
Experience preparing management MIS and working with external auditors.
