About The Opportunity

Join a growing clinical imaging unit serving community and tertiary-referral patients in Jajpur. We seek a hands-on Consultant Radiologist to lead diagnostic reporting, perform image-guided procedures, and maintain high standards for turnaround, quality assurance, and radiology safety.

Role & Responsibilities

Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies (CT, MRI, X?ray/DR, ultrasound/Doppler, fluoroscopy) and deliver timely, accurate reports for clinicians.
Conduct image?guided procedures and basic interventional radiology under established protocols; ensure informed consent and post?procedure follow?up.
Operate and manage PACS/RIS workflows; ensure DICOM compliance, image quality, and timely case distribution.
Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews, tumor boards, and clinical rounds to correlate imaging with patient management.
Maintain quality assurance, radiation safety practices, and documentation in line with regulatory and institutional standards.
Provide on-site supervision and mentoring to radiography and sonography staff; support continuous improvement and CME activities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

MD/DNB/DMRD in Radio-diagnosis or equivalent postgraduate qualification
Valid registration with the Medical Council/State Medical Council (India)
Proven experience reporting CT and MRI studies and performing diagnostic ultrasound
Hands-on experience with PACS/RIS and DICOM-compliant imaging workflows
Practical knowledge of radiation safety and imaging QA protocols
Ability to perform common image-guided procedures and fluoroscopic studies

Preferred

Fellowship or additional training in Interventional Radiology or Body Imaging
Experience with teleradiology workflows and remote reporting
Exposure to mammography or pediatric imaging
