Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Junior Accountant. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements within a real estate development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain daily financial transactions using Tally Prime and accounting systems
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and payment tracking
Handle petty cash management and site-level expense monitoring
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Process purchase bills, vendor invoices, and financial entries
Assist in GST return filing and compliance
Support TDS calculations and statutory compliance
Maintain proper documentation, data, filings, and audit-ready records
Assist in preparation of financial statements and internal reports
Support internal audits, budgeting, and financial planning activities
Coordinate with internal teams and site staff for financial data
Provide administrative and accounting support as required

Qualifications

Proficiency in accounting principles, bookkeeping, and handling financial transactions.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation.
Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as Tally Prime.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and data accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills for meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in accounts payable, receivable, invoices, GST filings and bank reconciliation
Knowledge of tax compliance, project finance and financial regulations is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.

Job Details

Location: Near Borivali West Station

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Monday to Saturday) (1 hour lunch break)

Compensation: 20,000 – 25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Annual Casual and Sick Leave: 12 days (no carry-forward)

Additional Public Holidays: 7 days (no carry-forward)
