We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Operations Project Manager to join our Innovations team. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Innovations to manage the non-technical aspects of project execution. You will play a key role in monitoring project progress, helping to focus team efforts, and ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

Project management: Work with the Head of Innovations to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables that align with the overall innovation strategy. Support resource allocation and team capacity planning to ensure that projects are adequately staffed and resourced.
Budget Management: Manage project budgets and coordinate with finance and purchasing teams to ensure financial resources are allocated effectively and expenditures are tracked.
Process optimization: Monitor project progress and assist in maintaining timelines by identifying areas where team focus is needed. Implement and optimize project management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
Data-driven decision-making & reporting: Track key metrics and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
Risk management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project outcomes.
Continuous improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by conducting post-project reviews and implementing lessons learned in future projects. Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and brainstorming sessions to encourage team engagement and idea generation.
Communication: Facilitate and maintain clear lines of communication within and outside the team.

Requirement

Education - Bachelor's degree in Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience -Proven experience of 1 to 2 years in project management, preferably in an R&D or innovation-focused environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and adapt to changing circumstances..
Experience in leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
