Job Overview:

As a Reel/Video Editor, you are required to brainstorm, ideate, co-ordinate and create unique and innovative reels for KC's study abroad business.

You are expected to have a strong grasp of current marketing tools, video editing software, and should be able to execute projects from start to end on a timely basis. You will be aligned with the Social Media Marketing & Video team and will need to coordinate with different departments internally for the creation and execution of the videos/ reels.

Responsibilities:

To Shoot engaging video clips using smartphones or professional cameras while ensuring high production quality.
To create informative reels/videos using good graphics, self-recorded photos/ videos or downloaded images from the image bank along with the audience-appropriate audio
To brainstorm new and creative ideas and strategies for reel content creation
To identify the latest and current trends and to create video content in line with what is trending and relatable to students
To get more views, likes, shares, followers, and subscribers via innovative reel marketing content thereby enhancing the brand awareness of KC within the digital space
To develop, implement, and manage the reel marketing calendar for the Financial Year
To generate good quality, engaging reels at the pre-decided Daily/ weekly/ monthly frequency
To collaborate with internal stakeholders like social media team, design team, country teams for their suggestions, content approvals, and reel approvals.
To collaborate with external stakeholders like students, parents, and partners to create exciting and innovative reels
To conduct monthly/ quarterly competitor analysis and to make suggestions/ recommendations on the learnings and insights gained
To track, measure, and report the performance of reels and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the reel creation, Improve the video and sound quality using various video editing software
Minimum 1-2 years of experience with video editing / reel creation.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Advertising or Public Relations is good to have
Knowledge of framing, lighting, and mobile/professional camera handling for high-quality video creation.
Knowledge of image and video editing software like Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator.
Familiarity with adding animations, text overlays, and transitions to enhance visual appeal.
Ability to write catchy captions, voiceover scripts, and engaging on-screen text.
Good social media skills, good knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & YouTube
Knowledge of green screen recording & editing
Must have:

Fluent in English and Hindi
Time Management
Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
