Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounts Executive to independently manage the firm's accounting, payroll, and expense operations using Zoho Finance. The role requires hands-on expertise in Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, and Zoho Payroll, along with strong accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to compliance. The position involves end-to-end ownership of financial transactions, vendor payments, reimbursements, payroll cycles, and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting entries, reconciliation, and financial documentation on Zoho Books
Process employee reimbursements and expense claims through Zoho Expense, ensuring accuracy and policy compliance
Run complete monthly payroll cycles on Zoho Payroll, including salary structure updates, attendance integration, and payslip generation
Process client invoices, payments, and maintain client records
Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial summaries, and dashboards
Handle statutory payments and filings TDS, PF, ESI, PT, GST (coordination with CA firm where required)
Coordinate with HR for attendance cut-offs, LWP adjustments, and employee master updates
Prepare audit schedules and support internal/external audits
Maintain proper documentation and audit trail for all financial transactions
Support senior management with financial analysis and budgeting inputs
Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and timely closure of monthly books.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; M.Com preferred
Mandatory: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in:
Zoho Books
Zoho Expense
Zoho Payroll
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliance
Prior experience managing full accounting cycles and payroll independently
Proficiency in MS Excel formulas, reconciliation, and reporting
Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
High ownership, discipline, and ability to meet monthly deadlines

Preferred Attributes

Familiarity with Zoho Books automation, workflows, and financial integrations
Ability to manage confidential financial data with maturity and discretion
