Key Responsibilities:

Direct Tax Compliance & Reporting

Manage direct tax compliances, including filing corporate income tax returns, tax computations, and advance tax workings.
Prepare and review tax provisioning, deferred tax calculations, and tax disclosures for financial statements.
Handle direct tax assessments, queries, appeals, and responses to tax authorities.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of TDS/TCS compliances, statements, and reconciliations.

Transfer Pricing Compliance & Planning

Oversee and review end-to-end Transfer Pricing documentation, including Local File, Master File, Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR)
Support transfer pricing, benchmarking, intercompany agreements, and global TP policies.
Assist in planning and aligning intercompany transactions with arm's‑length principles.
Manage TP assessments, audits, and defense strategies

International Tax & Cross-Border Advisory

Provide guidance on DTAA applications, withholding tax, PE risk, and global tax developments.
Assist in tax planning for cross-border transactions, repatriations, and intercompany flows.

Process & Controls

Implement and strengthen internal controls relating to direct tax compliance.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (Finance, Legal, Secretarial) to ensure accurate tax treatment of transactions.
Support tax technology improvements, automation, and ERP‑based tax configuration

Advisory & Support

Provide day-to-day advisory on direct tax matters
Review contracts, invoices, and cross‑border arrangements from a tax standpoint.
Assist in planning and optimizing direct tax positions within legal frameworks

Others :

Working knowledge of SEZ's would be added advantage
Chartered Accountant (CA)
Minimum 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in tax.
Strong technical knowledge of Income tax .
Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Prior experience in Big 4 firms preferred.
