The project is a trading and position platform implementation for commodity products. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on several type of commodity products and learn a new trading platform.

The team is responsible for the integration of a trading application (Orchestrade) used for:

Pre-deal origination workflow and post execution monitoring and life-cycle management
Dedicated workflow, configuration of the platform, supporting business
Leverage strategic standard risk systems
Integration with Operations, Finance
Reporting, Reconciliation
Accounting

The application is Orchestrade:

Orchestrade is in .Net (C#): Natively connected to Excel
Database: Microsoft SQL
Delivered as a Hosted SaaS (Azure)

You will be part of the SaaS implementation team responsible for building and maintaining the client environments of the new trading platform.

Responsibilities

Cloud Account Setup & Identity:

Azure subscription creation and management
Setting up DNS resolver rules/incoming connections to work with new routing requirements in Azure subscriptions
Sharing of DNS resolver rules with other accounts and liaising with client infra engineering to ensure DNS lookups work from on-prem
Managing user roles and permissions at the overall org level and by account by account as per requests
Role updates/blob storage permission updates
Automation of key rotation policies and procedures

Cloud Networking:

Creation of endpoint service infrastructure so that clients can connect to the company services
Creation of endpoint connections so that the company can connect to external services
Setting up connected VPCs, PrivateLink and Express Route connections as required
Setting up of DMZ VPCs, setting up peering and routing so that we can provide connectivity in a secure manner

Cloud Security & DevOps pipelines:

Working with Dev teams and CyberSec team to make sure we follow security best practices
Implement security controls in line with industry best practices and corporate standards
Writing scripts to do Azure key rotation and running them to make sure we keep up with security best practices
Terraform code reviews

Cloud Storage:

Work with Dev teams to set up backup and restoration procedures in line with client requirements

Application Environments:

Implement and manage client environment in line with project requirements and within cost parameters
Automate deployment and environment provisioning activities
Ensure environments are stable, robust and fit for purpose
Define and validate disaster recovery procedures and configuration

Skills

3+ years Microsoft Azure Cloud Experience
Extensive experience in all areas of responsibilities above (DNS, IAM, Terraform, Application Deployment etc.)
Extensive Background in Azure Infrastructure experience
not just Azure development
Expert in infrastructure as a code and related tools such as Terraform
Solid understanding of Linux/Windows administration
Solid knowledge around containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience developing CI/CD pipelines and tooling, e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git
Excellent scripting and automation skills
Understanding of all of the above with regard to scale, security and reliability
