Role Description The Video Editor role at Homobie is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. This role involves editing video content for digital platforms, including cutting footage, arranging sequences, adding transitions, and syncing audio to create clear and engaging stories. The Video Editor will handle basic motion graphics and visual elements, collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs, and ensure that all videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Day-to-day tasks include managing raw footage, performing color correction and grading, exporting content in required formats, and maintaining an organized workflow for ongoing and upcoming projects. The Video Editor will also contribute ideas for improving video content and support the development of new formats and visual styles.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for creating polished, coherent video content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual quality and enhance storytelling.
- Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support key messages and improve viewer engagement.
- Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Attention to detail, strong visual sense, and ability to work within brand guidelines and timelines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on-site in Bhopal.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio demonstrating previous video work is required.
